| March 23, 2012: APMG wins contract ASL® and BISL® qualifications schemes |
|
Richard Pharro, CEO, APMG, has signed a contract with the ASL BiSL Foundation in The Netherlands to run the ASL and BiSL Qualifications as of 1st May 2012. The ASL BiSL Foundation reviewed its strategic plans and sought expressions of interest to develop and market its qualification scheme. APMG was naturally delighted to win. "This is an important step in creating international awareness and demand for the ASL and BiSL qualifications", Pharro said. "Our network of Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs) extends around the globe and they work with other compatible frameworks such as ITIL® and ISO/IEC 20000, so ASL and BiSL will be an exciting new product for them."
Lucille van der Hagen, Managing Director of the ASL BISL Foundation said: "We are looking forward to working with APMG and enabling more candidates who want qualifications in ASL and BiSL to take the exams in their own languages. This is an exciting phase in the development of the scheme. Choosing APMG is part of the strategic direction for ASL and BiSL. The Board of the ASL BiSL Foundation was unanimous in its decision to work with APMG. The reasons we chose APMG are its wide international network, its high quality standards and service level and its good relationship with owners of related qualification schemes like PRINCE2® and ITIL."
